Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Adding a redis DB for cache persistence would be great

Describe the solution you'd like
Add --enable-cachedb to the make config

Describe alternatives you've considered
Currently building myself. But maybe others might be interested, too. And building on a raspi4 takes ages.
