Auto-enrollment to topics-ns? #218
Comments
Yes that is intentional. I think the idea was that anyone can self-enroll in that course if they wish, but since it is far from compete we so far did not auto-enroll. |
OK, thanks. For my demo later today here at PaNOSC kickoff (https://indico.esrf.fr/indico/event/19/timetable/#20190115) I have simply enrolled the relevant demo-account manually. (Don't want a situation where I click a link that doesn't bring me forward ;-) ) |
OK, in that guess let's just keep the self-enroll in the topics-ns course |
Should I add "topics-ns" as a mandatory course? It's easy to do, since we have a setting for that. |
@climbcat yup, just do like that - then we can close here |
@lindaudby is it intentional that e.g. the front page link to the liposome case links to topics-ns?
It seems to me that the (account required) indicates that signing up will be enough, but in fact the user must be added to topics-ns afterwards.
Should people get auto-enrolled to topics-ns also?
