@lindaudby is it intentional that e.g. the front page link to the liposome case links to topics-ns?

It seems to me that the (account required) indicates that signing up will be enough, but in fact the user must be added to topics-ns afterwards.

Should people get auto-enrolled to topics-ns also?

Yes that is intentional.
I've tried to put examples which are very sample specific in the special topics "course".
CUrrently topics are
"SANS in biology"
"Crystallography"

I think the idea was that anyone can self-enroll in that course if they wish, but since it is far from compete we so far did not auto-enroll.
If it seem to messy for new users, guess it would be OK to auto-enroll everyone. Hopefully new topic will be contributed soonish

OK, thanks. For my demo later today here at PaNOSC kickoff (https://indico.esrf.fr/indico/event/19/timetable/#20190115) I have simply enrolled the relevant demo-account manually.

(Don't want a situation where I click a link that doesn't bring me forward ;-) )

OK, in that guess let's just keep the self-enroll in the topics-ns course

Should I add "topics-ns" as a mandatory course? It's easy to do, since we have a setting for that.

@climbcat yup, just do like that - then we can close here
