Before Continuing:

  • Check you are using the latest version of the mods and its dependencies
  • Always include a latest.log if you are crashing
  • Remove mod that enhances Minecraft: Optifine, Sodium, others. The issue persists.
  • If you are unsure which mod is the culprit.
Disable all of your mods and enable them 1-2 mods each time to isolate the culprit
  • Confirm that there is no existing issue with a similar description submitted in the list of issues.

Describe Issue

Came across this by accident. When crafting suspicious sand (or any of the other suspicious blocks), if a stack higher than one is used for the item to be put into it, it will only use one from crafting, yet it will give the amount used in crafting when the block is brushed.

For example, combining 5 iron (in a stack) with 1 gravel. After crafting, you have 4 iron left over, and the suspicious block. You put it down, brush it, and get 5 iron from it, effectively duping your initial 5 iron into 9.
