"Failed to properly place creepvine block at BlockPOS" spammed to server output/log #74
Comments
It is not a standard/non-error state. Also I never encountered that bug during my testing. So to fix it I need more information (just fill out the issue template). |
Posting this from my phone. Will come back from PC to fill in the blanks later today. I have a large "fish tank" surrounded on 4 sides with glass and sand as floor layer. Top is open. It's 15 blocks tall. It's also on a sky map (Garden of Glass). The error does not seem to prevent the creepvines from growing, nor are there any other broken behaviors noticed. Versions Other |
Afterthought...would it help you if I uploaded and linked to a zip of the server with mods, configs, and world save? |
Such a zip file should be fine. But i also need the coordinates of that fish tank. |
Here's part of the logs. It looks like the error did stop overnight, so I'll give you a world backup from when it was still happening. I'll also place a few more vines to see if it starts again. The fish tank is right near spawn, so you should have no issues finding it. Other than the mob grinder made of stone, it's the tallest structure visible from spawn. [23:43:33] [Server thread/ERROR] [better_diving]: Failed to properly place creepvine block at BlockPos{x=1161, y=96, z=46} |
Here's the server upload: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1VM1vARNujGcAY9z8mIqMwlaXQ2-fgAhe Placing a creepvine or creepvine cluster does indeed cause the error to return. It would appear the error stops when any vines in loaded chunks are finished growing. Sidenote...Once you load up, if you want creative mode, /op isn't sufficient due to LuckyPerms. Use this command from the server console (only works while your player entity is loaded on the server): lp user <mc_username> parent set wheel |
Seems to happen when Sponge Forge and Industrial Foregoing are installed. Though I don't know why. |
i happend it too |
I mean I know that and when it happens but ok. And actually this might be fixed with v1.5.8 |
We used to get this on our old world when our world was pregenned |
Please prevent this line from continually outputting since this seems to be a standard/non-error state for the mod.
