I have to apply two different protection rights for two different sets of people on multiple files together. But it does not work. I selected all the relevant files/folders and then applied custom rights Confidential -> Authorized Person Only -> Viewer Only and added one set of people for viewing rights only. It applied the rights.

Next, I selected the same set of files/folders and then applied custom rights Confidential->Authorized Person Only->Viewer, Edit and added second set of people for editing rights. It overrides the previous protection rights entirely.

Hi, AIP client does not support different people with different rights.
The documenation only indicated that you can reprotect the file to change the rights and the list of users, but all the users will have the same rights.
