Ticket from https://mozilla-hub.atlassian.net/browse/MOFOTP-434

Request description

We’ll need an image for the wagtail petition page, FRU modal and the Facebook share. The email will be sent by Nabiha and is centred around a petition ask, asking supporters to sign on to show their support for trustworthy AI. We’ll send this petition to supporters immediately before and after the summit.

Petition will be translated, so no text can be used.

Email brief: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1b0E2XTi-6YwIzULzVSDZ6xk74ckaLjhsp-HNz3IEUIA/edit?tab=t.0

Timeline

Email sent 7 Feb -- ideally graphics are ready by 1 feb for first review.

Metrics

Overall goals of this email send are:

  • Engage supporters via a handraiser petition, asking them to show their support for worthy AI and Mozilla’s core priorities at the upcoming AI Action Summit.
  • Educate supporters about the AI Action Summit, highlighting what Mozilla involvement and advocacy work. Emphasize and attempt to counterbalance the summit's relatively closed and exclusive nature, by providing an explainer and behind-the-scenes insight into what to expect.
  • Demonstrate Mozilla’s thought leadership and influence in shaping global AI policy and governance, reinforcing our credibility and strengthening trust among supporters as a leading advocate for ethical and inclusive AI practices.
  • Provide Mozilla representatives with evidence of public support, strengthening their advocacy efforts and demonstrating widespread global backing for ethical and inclusive AI policies.

Please indicate audience type and size/reach.
