homebridge v2 issue collection

With newer versions of homebridge there is now this log message in the log view:

NOTICE TO USERS AND PLUGIN DEVELOPERS
> Homebridge 2.0 is on the way and brings some breaking changes to existing plugins.

It seems like the update doesn't really affect this plugin, and we don't have any major changes. But I still need some time upgrading to the v2 beta and testing the plugin.

After testing I have found no issues. There is also no deprecated code used.
If anything comes up, please add it to this issue!
