This might seem unnecessary, but it may be beneficial to distribute this mod on the Modrinth platform; not only to get away from CurseForge, but to support mod clients to automatically fetch and download mods from a mod distribution site, as CurseForge really wants to force you to use their mod loader.

On Modrinth, you can specify multiple versions that the mod is compatible with even after publishing it. This allows custom launchers like Prism Launcher to download it and check for updates according to the compatible versions you set on your Modrinth page.
