The original NDT algorithm was tested on F1EIGHTH and the it could not achieve stable localization.
The reason could be due to (1) restricted FOV of Cube1 LiDAR or (2) the insufficient data quality.
The baseline tests are needed to confirm the issues.
Use rotary Velodyne LiDAR for comparison
Test various scenarios: the presence of buildings, the height of LiDAR, etc.
