Web Tool Features and Updates

We've recently made some updates to improve the web tool usability and convenience:

• Evaluation name (used to be called "Name") was moved up from the "Advanced inputs" of the Site and Utility section to the top of that section:
  
  • This name now shows in the web browser tab (to distinguish if multiple REopt tabs are open)
  • This name is also now the first column of the (logged-in) user's Saved Evaluation page for easier navigation to pull back up the results or copy the evaluation.
• The entire run_uuid was added to the expanded summary section in the Saved Evaluations page - this is useful if you need to debug a web tool run through the API; if you reach out to NREL to debug something, please provide this run_uuid.
• If evaluating CHP, and the site's heating load type is steam, there is now a warning message indicating when the default/selected CHP prime mover type has a default thermal efficiency of zero (which is the REopt default for all microturbines and smaller reciprocating engines which are typically used for hot water producing applications). The message also instructs that the user may override the default thermal efficiency to non-zero so that the sizing heuristic and default cost and performance data are populated with the user-supplied thermal efficiency.
  • The user may want to evaluate a custom microturbine system which has been configured to produce steam, but they should update the costs, electric efficiency, and thermal efficiency parameters according to the specific system.
• Users may now copy and paste monthly inputs (e.g. load, fuel cost) from a spreadsheet-style
  • Copy the 12-rows from the spreadsheet, select (click with cursor) inside the first cell at the top, and paste (cntrl+v)
• Fixes some issues with sharing REopt URLs between users and copying those evaluations with custom/uploaded loads and rate structures
  • Before, when a user shared a results page URL with another user for an evaluation that contained a custom/uploaded load or electric rate tariff, and the evaluation was copied (using the Copy button) multiple times to re-run with different inputs, there would be an error about the existing load or rate already existed.

• Load profile builders for electric, heating, and cooling loads
• Excel spreadsheet download for all/most of the data included in the Results Comparison table
