Will more load profiles for additional building types be added in the future? |

The building loads available in the REopt® web tool will be updated as DOE’s commercial reference building profiles are updated; other building loads such as residential buildings may be added in the future. Check the REopt development page for updates. Often a building that is included as one of the DOE reference buildings will have a load profile shape that is similar to a building that you want to model. You can select various buildings and then click "Chart electric load data" to look at the relative electric load - at various times, days of the week and months of the year - to find the building that most closely matches. The actual electric load will be scaled to the annual energy consumption that you enter. |
