I've created a separate branch, mac_test, with changes that should support MacOS.

You can pull/clone the branch yourself or download the pre-release from here:

https://github.com/Nenotriple/gimp_upscale/releases/tag/v1.04b

I do not have a Mac to test this on, so please let me know how it works!
