Describe the bug
This appears to happen only on first launch after a while.
The "Latest" tab shows a bunch of apps, but when I want to search for an already installed app, it takes ages to load, sometimes I'm not even sure if something is happening.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open the app.
  2. Tap on "Search".
  3. Tap on "Installed"

The list is empty.

Expected behavior
The app shows the list of installed apps immediately or almost immediately

Relevant information:

  • Device: Google Pixel, one of the later ones
  • Android Version: 14
  • ROM: GrapheneOS
  • App's Version: 1.0.5
  • Disabled battery optimization for Neo Store? "Allow background usage" is on. Not sure if that's it
  • What is your selected installer? "Default session installer"

I have ~5 repositories enabled, maybe this has to do with the issue.

I have the same issue. Pixel 8a, also with GrapheneOS.

Looks like it is updating something in the background first and you have to wait for it to finish. Very annoying. I always think it got stuck.

Same on a 7a Pixel. The app is otherwise beautiful but it is noticeably frustrating having to wait for apps to load. Feels like I'm browsing the internet in the 2000s again 😭
