Guidelines

  • I have searched the issue tracker for open and closed issues that are similar to the feature request I want to file, without success.
  • I'm on the latest version.
  • I'm not using a test build (alpha/beta/release-candidate).
  • This issue contains only one bug.

Describe the bug

  1. Enable KDE Android repository.
  2. Install Elisa v24.08.2 for x86_64.
  3. See update suggested for Elisa — v24.08.2 x86_64 → v24.08.2 arm64-v8a.

Expected Behavior

No update is suggested for the exact same version of the app between two different processor architectures.

Relevant information

  • Device: Waydroid 1.4.3 running on Gentoo Linux running on a Dell Inspiron 3793
  • Android Version: Android 11
  • ROM: LineageOS 18.1, x86_64 build with libhoudini (ARM translation layer) installed
  • Disabled battery optimization for Neo Store? — Yes.
  • What is your selected installer? — Root installer with “Use root session installer” enabled (although I'm not sure what the session installer even is exactly or if it's desirable or even needed in my case).

I have “Incompatible versions” enabled in settings, but disabling the option doesn't change the listed versions of Elisa, probably because ARM support is detected thanks to libhoudini and thus treated equally to the native architecture as opposed to being secondary to it.
