The five-button interface is slightly confusing for the user.

Noted by high school student Josie when using the app:

The user-interface for the map is slightly unclear. I, personally, had to tinker with the settings to fully understand what each of the five buttons did. Although it does give a descriptor when panned over, a word such as “wheel zoom” does not give enough context to immediately understand what it does.

I think the best way to resolve this problem is to define how to use these five buttons in the How to Use It column of the main page.
