An Excel worksheet event onHyperlinkFollow, triggered when user clicks a hyperlink (either manually created or HYPERLINK formula result) in the worksheet, with ability to cancel the navigation in event handler (like preventDefault()).
Such event would enable new ways interacting and passing information to an Add-in.
One major use case would be a task pane that shows web previews. If the clicked hyperlink destination matches some criteria, the task pace could prevent the navigation and load and display the content itself.
When we deal with tables of products, I often add a hyperlink column to the product drawing pdf, great convenience, but it opens a new tab in the browser every time and before you know, there's 15 tabs open. It would easier if the drawing showed right there in the Excel window.
Bonus that such approach would degrade gracefully if the preview Add-in wasn't installed/enabled.
