I've this exact same problem, but only if my Wi-Fi is activated and I'm signed into RetroAchievements. Any new game will take about a minute to stabilize, and then from then on, even after reboots, that specific game will no longer lag. The larger the achievement list for a game, the longer the time needed to stabilize. This never happened before this most recent beta batch that updated RetroArch. Like the OP, I also did an OTA update from the previous stable version and I disable services during play. This has happened ever since that first update weeks ago, I just never reported it. |

Hello
I am using the version 4.4.0-beta (updated OTA from previous stable 4.3).
Wifi activated and option "disable services when playing" activated
Any time I launch an emulator (snes, gb, psx, genesis) the engine and sound are very laggy. After a few minutes of gameplay is fluid again.
Is there a reason for that?
