Ha. I think I requested this myself a while back :-P

Will try to implement after making some progress with speed issues in the web api. I have some code in propinquity/compare_synthesis_outputs.py that should be adaptable to handling a single synthesis output.

BTW, @mtholder, there is some nice class in there, mostly by @kcranston that wraps various tasks relating to dealing with synthesis outputs. I feel like we should put this somewhere so it can be shared between scripts. Is peyotl a good destination for that?
