As of https://salsa.debian.org/printing-team/brlaser/-/commit/f3c6304bf6b5f88f9f20c721ed5a3fb008744e96, this fork is packaged in Debian, and will therefore make its way down to Ubuntu/Mint/PopOS/Zorin/etc over time.
