i had my ubuntu upgraded a week ago from 22 to 24 that also 24.10 , the lock screen is working but i cant customise it , and the commands are not working , which is also a sad thing , and i don't know how to remove this which is also making my life bad. if i run the script it tells me it is not supported for this ubuntu version

Hi this script is only for Ubuntu version 20.04.

If you have issue please send me screen shots of the screen you are facing. This script is for changing login scree background. I can help you.

Ok that's good I got clarity on your OS and distribution.

So please share your lock screen and login screen screenshots. Are you facing any issues of your lock screen and login screen?? If not you are ready to customize both.

First plz confirm your lock screen and login screen both are working fine with default install or upgraded install of Ubuntu 24.10

i dont really know how to take screenshots on lock screen this is the best i could come up with

1st and 2nd are the ones which come when i first unlock the pc
3rd comes when i lock after booting .
there this issue too where it wont come after i login . it only comes come when i login for the first time after i shutdown

Ok I noticed your login screen is already using some other script to set background. Also theming on login screen has issues. Until you bring it to default state I can't help on it.

Your lock screen seems fine.
For lock screen you can change wall paper with this extension. https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/7472/lockscreen-extension/

its Working but there is a limit for the font size , can i change this
