hello,
I read A lot of this information is scattered across blogs, sites, repos, modules, etc. Some of it is ephemeral. This repo is intended to pull it together or provide authoritiative pointers.
I see this as a crucial point and I see no much progress in this respect, with all respect for your work.
After days of investigations I still not able to define what 'perl toolchain' really is..
The matter is vaste and for sure a bit nebolous but some effort must be done to clarify it a bit.
I propose to have a page here named what-toolchain-is.md to collect the best definitions and purposes.
In the above page would be wonderful to have a list of modules and programs that are for sure inside the toolchain: theese modules and programs need infact a special care in portability and testing
In addition: perl test reporting is a fundamental piece of the 'toolchain', no? The documentation available at cpanwiki need a serious rewrite imho: where i must address to give my humbel suggestions?
thanks for reading
