Custom Oracle Written in JS

Build a Custom Oracle that is composed of JS methods using the QuickJS engine. This is a customizable oracle that can get a request from the blockchain, run arbitrary JS code to produce a response, and send it back to the blockchain. Some sample code of QuickJS Engine can provide is defined in README.md here.

Potential Use Cases:

• Prediction Market Substrate Blockchains can integrate the offchain rollup into their runtime then deploy a customized oracle for different prediction markets that allows them to generate calculations in javascript to create a betting line that can move based on the situation of the prediction market.
• NFT Blockchains/Smart Contracts can use a customized oracle to have dynamic NFTs morph based on data returned from APIs that can cause NFTs to change on-chain.
• DeFi blockchains/Smart Contracts can have dynamic price feed oracles that give latest price from multiple APIs & custom calculations based on their own configuration is JS
• Gaming blockchains/Smart Contracts can create gambling or betting market to generate latest lines for active Web3 games
• Blockchains that want a KYC/AML implementation can create risk scores for accounts interacting with their protocol and be able to validate if the account that don't meet a threshold resulting in the account being blocked from interacting with their protocol
• Entertainment NFTs can build a progression of levels that fans can attain to build a strong fan base. (i.e. Taylor Swift does a lot of interesting stuff to engage with her fans)
• Many more use cases, but these are just a few.
