Build environment?

What build environment do we need for this tool? How to build it on the different platforms? Thanks.

It's long overdue i guess. I will find some time to write up the read me for this project in a couple of days

the project is written in c++
so any suitable compiler of c++ on the respective platform works
usually g++

Wrote the initial version of the readme file. Please let me know if anything is missing . I will add it in there.
