Identity providers get username

am trying to understand how things work

Am using Discord Identity provider to login
now I want to get username of the user (i know i can get it from discord API but i want to get it from eos)

another question
after registering user using Identity providers could i create or link to epic account so i will have all features !

little bit confused any words could help me

You can use UserInfoInterface.QueryUserInfoByExternalAccount to query the user information, then UserInfoInterface.QueryUserInfo.

As this is part of the EOS SDK, not our plugin, information on this can be found here. The API calls are usually documented as C calls, not C#, but if you search their website, you should be able to find the corresponding C# name. In general EOS_INTERFACE_METHOD will become INTERFACE.METHOD, i.e.:

EOS_UserInfo_QueryUserInfo becomes
UserInfoInterface.QueryUserInfo

To get the interface, one can use the EOSManager getters to simplify the call to:
EOSManager.Instance.GetEOSUserInfoInterface().QueryUserInfo(someParameters);

And yes, you can link an external account to a given epic account, this is covered in out samples and in Epic's documentation.
