Stock not updated after sale

The original quantity was 10, I have sold 1 and confirmed the order but the available quantity has not changed

Did you authorize it when you were prompted?

Not sure what you mean by that, I didn't see a prompt.. other than the confirm order button in the dashboard which generated 500 error but still marked it as confirmed (replaced with mark as shipped button)
