The old creature editor had functionality such as

  • Show me a bunch of different ear shapes
  • Show me a bunch of different eye colors
  • Show me a bunch of minor miscellaneous variations of my creature
  • Show me a bunch of variation, but keep the mouth the same

It was also very complex and intimidating, so I wouldn't want to preserve all of this crazy functionality but at least having the vague idea of a button, "just fudge my stuff up" might be fun.
