Should we start a Post45 Slack or Discord?

Benefits

  • Announce Post45 publications
  • Community building and networking
    • Members could post CFPs and find collaborators
    • Discussion of publications (Post45 & other journals)

Issues

  • How much work would it be to moderate / manage?
  • Criteria for joining? Completely open or limited access?
  • would it be stifling if this were cross-rank? (e.g., graduate students nervous about joining/posting/being candid if senior scholars are present)
  • Does this need to exist / does anyone actually want this?
