/about page hasn't been touched since we became unhinged. I'd love to redo it to better reflect who we are as a company. Basically some of the following bits:

  • Why PostHog?/manifesto
  • Updated version of our story
  • Key points from handbook
  • What makes us different/lore/weirdness
  • People who keep us weird (similar but different to /careers)
  • Investors or growth (I know talking about investors isn't the end-all but it's good signaling, though now we could show a revenue chart or signup chart or something else to show momentum)
  • Select popular blog posts that show traction/boldness/things that have been well-received
  • Popular initiatives outside our core product (Is GA illegal?, crazy cool merch, popular newsletter, book, etc)
  • ??

Open to other ideas. Also open to interesting ways to visualize all of this. (ie: Should it be like exploring a treasure map? Or just a boring 'ol scrollable webpage?)

What about if we do it like a joke as in the main content is all about #do-more-weird, side projects, what we’ve read in BookHog, best Hackathon projects, gallery of our best artwork/memes etc.

Then in small print at the bottom is all the ‘boring’ stuff - investors, impressive numbers/graphs etc.

Like in those medical ads where someone reads a bunch of disclaimer stuff at the end really quickly.
