v1.8 - MAYHEM update
Features :
- Support for a huge number of asteroids at the same time, thanks to smart optimisation in the calculation of collisions
- Very satisfying and devastating death
- Same for teleportation, not random anymore, goes where the mouse is
- Better explosions, better fire, better screenshake, better time dilation, better flashes
- Only infinitespace with mouse control available now
Fixed :
- No more massive asteroid spawn, fixed interval between two asteroid spawning
- Stupid performance problem where i forgot to despawn projectiles that are too far
Bugs :
- Momentum of objects still not taken into account for physics
Not cool :
- Final death can't be viewed yet.
- Respawn and instant die because of asteroid
- Teleport and instant die because of asteroid
v1.7 - MORE FUN update
Features :
-Everything is bigger and faster !
-Light flashes for events (Shooting, teleporting and explosions)
-Color correction, star colors and space color change from one stage to the next
-More forgiving physics damages (allows easy asteroid-pushing :D)
-The default gamemode is now infinitespace
-The default weapon is now a powerfull shotgun
-Overexposed colors become whiter. A very intense red will look orange, or yellow, and a very intense blue will look cyan.
-Lots of tweaks, too much to enumerate.
Fixed :
-Infinitespace now works properly, with objects that are too far coming back the other side
-Smart camera now follows the action as intended :
-Properly focus on objects depending on mass an squared distance to the ship
-The ship can't go outside of screen anymore
-Better performance thanks to a higher asteroid minimum radius and default infinitespace
-No more intricated asteroids and physics bugs.
Bugs :
-At the beginning of stages, the sudden spawn of countless asteroids create a massive performance hit.
-Side effect : It creates an insane amount of chaos for more advanced stages
-Suggested fix : Make the asteroids of the stage appear progressively
-Momentum of objects still not taken into account for physics
V1.6 - Interface update
Features :
-New rendering system, an object is now a list of colors and polygons
-New ship, thanks to this :)
-New hitbox system, takes a list of points into account. Still not perfect, but does the job most of the time.
-New pause menu, accesible by pressing p
-Score is now displayed with big letters :)
-The stage number too
-Changed game scale and various values
Bugs :
-«Advanced» hitbox performance hit. Can be disabled in the menu
V1.5 - Oldschool update
Features :
-Oldschool mode is now available !
-Too small asteroids are now kept as darker collisionless shrinking chunks instead of being despawned, allowing some nice visuals at almost no cost !
-Irregular asteroids
Bugs :
-modulos af asteroids do not appear irregular as they should
-Still the angle.
V1.4
Features :
-Yan now toggle and use infinitespace ! It is important to increase game_surface for it to be enjoyable.
-Buttons to toggle on or off options such as : screenshake, dynamic camera, infinitespace, and mouse control
-Asteroids now only spawn outside of screen
-Asteroids outside of game surface will now be teleported back, following a 3 times bigger surface than the game
-Asteroids now have parameters to control range of possible colors at birth.
-Bigger and brighter stars. Closer stars are now also brigher
-Subtle screenshake when shooting
-Screenshake smoothing, for a more physical feel
-Randomized smoke color
-Fixed a bug making some objects follow the dynamic camera
-Cleaned code a lot.

-Optional scanlines effect

-Ship is now smaller and more dense.
-Ship now becomes a huge fireball at death, destroying everything in its path.

-Dynamic stars in the background (number of stars can be changed with stars_nb)
-Motion blur on objects (still need to be perfected, not activated on smoke because of visual glitches).
Can be deactivated, depending on taste or for better performance
-Smoke effects can be desactivated for better performance.
-Light trails and motion blur now correctly take into account screenshake and dynamic camera.
-Specific light trails calculation for stars, for a better look and better performance.

V1.2 - Game Feel update
Features :
-Better keyboard controls, with small impulses when pressing a key, and strafe !
Can be changed with the right variables.
-Dynamic camera following the ship !!! objects to the side of the screen still teleport to the other side
-Adding screenshake based on events
-Adding variable exposure based on events
-Light trails are now exposed depending on length (and exposure, of course)
-Ship now render as a polygon. Other objects will soon
-Colors adjusted to better suit variable exposure
-Physics damage calculation now take into account physical basic resistance correctly.
-Now possible to quit after death

-Once dead everything is slow-motion, the ship is spinning out of control shooting everywhere

Features :
-First really playable version :)
-Asteroids now break into 4 fragments of random smaller sizes
-Fragments can collide with everything except other fragments.
-As soon as a fragment does not risk colliding with other fragments, it will become a regular asteroid

-Health of asteroids is now based on mass, not radius
-Asteroids are more resistant to physical damages

-A strange bug where, if the mouse is exactly at the same height than the ship and to the left, the calcuated angle aims for the lower left end of the screen, and accelerating will teleport you there.
