-It is recommended to keep your distance from a Tank with this ability due to the acid puddles it'll create. Rely on your ammunition. Stay away from narrow and closed off areas. The acid puddles appear almost non-stop when the tank has you cornered and it will eat you alive in seconds.
-Be careful using melee. Its possible the mutant can spawn acid puddles right beneath you as you hit it with a melee weapon. Only use it when you know its safe for you and your group.
-Try and find open areas to fight the tank, it'll save you and your team your health and legs as the acid puddles are close to harmless out in the open. If you're indoors/in narrow places, running back while shooting the tank is your best option and take advantage of objects you can jump onto to avoid the tank in case it almost corners you.
-Staying too close to the tank can make an acid puddle right where you're standing. Keep your distance and keep running around so one area isn't a pool of acid.
-Watch out for its rocks. It has a chance of dropping acid when it breaks, so you getting hit means losing precious health and time to run.
-It's best to use the bots as distractions while you wear the Tank down from a distance since the Tank will be more focused on whatever survivor is closest to him as he approaches the team. The bots will most likely get themselves cornered, so use it to your advantage and gun down the tank as much as possible.
-Take turns getting the Tank's attention. The crucial part about beating this Tank is taking turns getting its attention as the rest of the team wears it down with bullets and swift melee attacks. Standard gunfire and molotovs are enough for dealing decent damage. As long as you and your teammates are prepared with ammo and other supplies, beating this Tank should be an easy task.
-Communicate with your team to spread out for the tank to have the disadvantage, but not too far so you can still cover each other in case any random special infected are around.
-Keep a close eye on everyone's health and where they are. You don't want to lead a Mutant with this ability to someone that is limping and low on health as the tank might switch its attention from you to them and get them killed, especially on higher difficulties.
-If a teammate with low health is about to be cornered by a Mutant with this ability, grab its attention ASAP by running up to it and shoving a few times. With luck, You'll only lose a bulk of health from acid and a punch but save your friend in return. Only do this if you have enough health to run away safely after getting hit.
-Bury. The ability instantly incaps you and you'll only have a small amount of bleedout health left, leaving you vulnerable to any acid puddle the tank leaves behind when you resurface and kill you.
-Ice. Getting frozen while acid puddles are spreading everywhere is the worst possible scenario you could be in. Getting cornered by a mutant with this combination is a death sentence as the acid keeps coming while you or your teammates are frozen in place.
-Slow. Being slowed down while acid is appearing right under you will eat away at whatever health you have left and most likely incapacitate you.
