If it means anything, my built xformers wheel is only 635 kilobytes, which is smaller than the prebuilt wheels. IDK if this means something is broken in it.

Something should check for that instead of crashing the gpu via SIGILL. Also MI100 (gfx908) supports all the same mfma instructions as GFX90a except the bf16_1k variant, so there is not reason not to support it.
