The source drive could be formatted by the CIRCLean.
Fo example a switch on a GPIO to indicate if the drive has to be cleaned up (formatted) after being copied.

If there's no destination USB stick, the drive is simply reformated in FAT32.

I have mixed feelings with this idea: formatting a key would be a nice thing, but a user can very easily do a mistake and loose its data.

It could be a nice feature, but I would not enable it by default.
