collections

event data (current fields, minus attendees)
event attendance (eventId maps to userId array)
attendees data (info)
attendees attendance (userId maps to eventId array)

helper function checkIn(userId, eventId) {
append userId to eventId.attendance
append eventId to userId.attendance
}

database changes:

rename event to event_data
rename attendee to attendee_data
add the two collections
