Suggestion : Configure different types of buckets separately #7
Comments
I'm not sure I understand...the buckets setting affects lava and water buckets, but NOT water buckets with something in them (i.e. fish, axos). What exactly are you looking for? |
Currently all buckets depend on the same option, I think it would be nice to be able to set the lava bucket stack to 16, the water bucket to 8, and the snow bucket to 64, for example. |
Oh in that case it probably won't happen. Unfortunately things get out of hand when I try to split it up too much and it will make it more of a headache to maintain as well as understand for users... There are some big improvements I want to make in the future, but it'll take a lot of work and I don't have all that much time. One of the things I'd like to eventually implement is the ability to specify an item by ID and give it a value. Would let you override the default groups to set more specific values if you want. But again, it will probably be a long time before I get around to it |
In fact, it's mainly for a balancing reason, I assume it's normal to have 64 buckets of powder snow in an inventory stack, but 64 buckets of lava seems way too powerful. Yes it seems to me a very good idea for me that in the future, the mod becomes totally data driven, it would be interesting to be able to manage them via datapack. |
For example, I would like to be able to make empty buckets and powder snow buckets stackable, but I would like to keep lava and water buckets that are not stackable (like water buckets filled with fish or axolotls).
I think it would be a nice addition😃
