Forza Horizon 4 picking up both keyboard and duelsnese at same time

Okay so I’m new to the DS4Windows program so don’t really know what I’m doing but I’m trying to play Forza Horizon 4 and when playing the game it’s like picking up both my keyboard and controller at the same time like when I hit a button on my controller in the menu the icons flutter from the controller inputs to the keyboard. So my controller like half works and is really delayed. Can anyone help?
