Not only what it can mean, but whether this can support different meanings in the same implementation.

We were talking about "membership" in the context of public radio earlier today, but the national level, member stations in relation to local, station members never came up.

While I doubt you'd need the member of member functionality at the NPR scale, other organizations have a similar model with member chapters that have individual members that could be configured in a single CRM instance.
