Describe the bug
Whenever you hover your mouse cursor over a plot with a fit, it will spam many warning messages. They all have the following message:

09:17:32 - WARNING: no figure set when check if mouse is on line

I could not observe any bugs in the behaviour of the plots but the warning messages pollute the log explorer.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Load in some data.
  2. Do a fit
  3. Hover your mouse over the graph that appears with the fit in it.

Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.

SasView version (please complete the following information):

  • Version: 6.0.0

Operating system (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Linux, running in Flatpak

Additional context
I've only observed this issue after implementing requested changes for the Flatpak. I've never seen this issue before. It could potentially be an issue with dependencies. I don't think its significant enough to hold up the Flatpak so I will push the requested changes regardless but I will investigate this issue later.

The code that generates that warning is in matplotlib, specifically in lib/matplotlib/lines.py

It was refactored since the last release 3.9.2, so it's possible the warning will go away in the next release (3.10.0).

matplotlib/matplotlib@279cd8f#diff-be677869a88f58790f2387fb2ac0ae12e2e9610d7c7096e25d3087d5ed9645c8

(it looks like version 3.9.2 was included in the flatpak)
