Fairphone 5 performance

This is my favorite QR scanner app. However, it does not seem to work well on Fairphone 5. Only half of all QR codes I try are detected. The same happens on my wife's FP5. The same codes work on other phones (with Secuso QR) or on the same phone with abdifferent app.
