Crash on start of "Sudoku of the day" and on retry wrong difficulty

I use this app on other Smartphones regularly. So I installed it on a J3 2016. I'm running a LineageOS 14.1 which is equivalent to Android 7.1.2.

I installed it using F-Droid, so 3.0.3
I turned on dark mode and when trying to start (play button) the current Sudoku of the day, the app crashed. I even tried it after finishing a normal game, hoping this would solve the problem but it didnt. Everything other menu option works fine.

I installed 3.0.2, it works. I upgraded, still works (as it continues the already started game). I removed and reinstalled 3.0.3. Works. So maybe settings changes where the reason? Reinstalled it, turned on dark mode... Still working. Tried again. Then it showed Difficulty 3 (hard), but the games was 1 (easy). Trying to reproduce is hard... maybe it is related to the generation of the games in the background? Sorry, if this report doesnt help, just close it, haha
