I keep getting stuck after everything is finished where i can't access the web browser gui. I can ping the VM ip and get replies and I can also ping my desktop from the VM and get replies. I have used the allow CLI command to allow my ip's, and have retried the setup 3 times now. I get no failures when i run the so-status and so-test commands. I setup using the first NIC in NAT and the second as bridged. I am definitely not a networking guy and this is all new to me. I have followed the Security Onion installation videos for one attempt and then the cyber warrior studios installation on another attempt. Any help is much appreciated. Guidelines

I used the so-firewall commands and added a couple more IP's and rebooted. It seems to be running now. I wish i had done it one at a time as i'm not sure what fixed it to be honest, but I am in. |
