Essential

  • Adjust default compression / quality settings to match imagemagick defaults
  • Make compression/quality settings configurable and make them match imagemagick for the same values
  • Only automatically rotate JPEG images when the -auto-orient option is passed
  • Support reading from stdin and writing to stdout
  • Support reading and writing Exif metadata and ICC profiles
  • Support decoding/encoding animations

Not blocking initial release but likely needed
