Circumflexes on lowercase letters in Merriweather Italic and Bold Italic

The circumflexes on lowercase letters in Merriweather Italic and Bold Italic are not shaped properly.

Looks like you have v2.002 from Google Fonts.
The circumflexcomb (0302) looks like it has an interpolation error.

Get the v2.100 fonts from this repo which do not appear to have this issue.
Download the zip and look in the fonts folder.
