The trees in the Moonlight Valley had their logs replaced with Pale Oak instead of Acacia in v2.5.7, but they still produce Acacia saplings when you cut them down.

I might have to keep this as intentional. Saplings are based on the leaf, not the trunk. In order to change the sapling that drops from the leaves in a certain biome, we would have to override the leaves' loot table completely. Generally, we try to avoid touching Vanilla non-worldgen files in Terralith, as it creates compatibility issues. And since this is such a small thing, I don't know if the overriding is worth it.
On the other hand, this is one of the few theoretical ways to get Pale Oak Saplings, since the Pale Garden is unavoidably rarer in Terralith due to the sheer amount of biomes. So I will talk to others on the team on what we think.
What Minecraft version(s) does this apply to?
1.21.4
Project version
v2.5.8
Mod or datapack version?
Fabric/Quilt Mod
