Original report by s. Mohammad Mozaffari: https://bugs.launchpad.net/stellarium/+bug/1733320

Please check the star magnitudes. I am occasionally confronted with these errors: 1) 46 Vir is assigned a magnitude of 8.5 (!), while it is of 5.99 in the BSC and a bit more than 6 in Hipparcos. 2) Also, check 2 Com.

The Stellarium is assumed to be widely used by historians of ancient and medieval astronomy for a readily and easily finding of astronomical data. So, such errors should be taken seriously.
