How often does the autosave back up your waypoints?

I had a crash this morning, and see that neither the waypoints in my save game or the autoback up had been saved since last night.. losing about 4 hours of waypoint mapping... i'm disheartended to almost giving up the project

Autodrive may not be saving when MapAutoSave saves the game.

The only time it is writing to the savegame folder is when I save the game and quit

I had the same issue. Because of I done three things after adding noticeable amount of waypoints or making proper intersection:

1. recalculate routes
2. export routes
3. save game.
   One time my game crashed (double way routes have bug which freeze game totally) I used AutoDrive_export.xml to copy waypoints from it to AutoDrive_config.xml in savegame folder.
