Device information

  • Tachidesk version: Tachidesk-Server-v0.7.0-r1197-windows-x64.zip
  • Server Operating System: Windows 10
  • Server Desktop Environment: N/A
  • Server JVM version: default
  • Client Operating System: Windows 10
  • Client Web Browser: Firefox and the included Electron

Steps to reproduce

  1. Turn off "Use Image Cache" in the Settings.
  2. Browse a source or even the library.
  3. Check if the thumbnails folder in AppData\Local\Tachidesk\thumbnails has new files (in my case there are new ones that shouldn't be there)

Expected behavior

There should be no image caching ideally.

Actual behavior

The images are cached, despite the "Use Image Cache" setting disabled (just to be clear I've tried enabling and disable the image cache and checking if the images are cached and it does).

Other details

I really don't want random images stored on my pc without explicitly choosing to download them. I've used both the browser and electron versions. (I've even tried disabling caching in firefox completely, but it did nothing).

If possible, please fix this problem.
