The suggestions for searches draws on the authority file, what are thoughts on limiting the scope of these suggestions to represent the actual diversity of records within the database?

Is it possible to search on omoccurrences=sciname rather than taxa?

It should be, I'll have to ask Ben or Ed if this is worth pursuing. For individual collections this might be useful, but on SCAN and other TCNs it might not be an issue considering the taxonomic breadth of the aggregated data.

Based on my past usage of Symbiota, this would be a huge plus.
