Why does "Alice" (on-ramp diagram) need to submit an extra final BID? #17

Can steps 6-8 be combined from pages 9-10 when it goes through the on-ramp example? If Alice has the full matrix of bids and requirements, can't she send her final bid along with her VCs in one go as opposed to sending VCs first, getting it approved, and then sending the final BID?

After taking a look, it does seem unnecessary to have the extra BID ack back within the steps you cited. This change would require updating the swimlane graphic in addition to the text, so we can take care of getting this change into the doc or you can submit a PR for the text and we can modify the graphic for you. Thank you for taking the time to read the paper, and welcome to the community!

@csuwildcat It's been too long since I've done latex to figure out why the PDF looks badly formatted when I compile 😞 Please go ahead and make the change if you don't mind.

On a separate note - I am glad to see people working on the more "regulatory" side of crypto. What's the best way to get updates about this effort?

Thanks for your work here!
