The readme states:

Note: Because of copyright considerations, TUM logos are not included in this template. Unfortunately, the logos are also not available on the MyTUM website anymore. Your supervisor should be able to hand them to you.

Where exactly can the supervisor find the files, and which files are needed?

Thanks

A better documentation on where the logos should be placed how is here:
https://github.com/TUM-Dev/tum-thesis-latex/blob/master/THEMES.md

You can get the TUM logo from here, but you will need to convert it to a pdf.

TBH, I would accept a PR to include the TUM logos into the repo and remove this part.
There is no copyright claim that TUM could do, just a trademark claim (which they won't, as having thesis templates is in their interest).

@COM8 what do you think?

Thank you!
Given that the official example (https://www.cit.tum.de/cit/studium/studierende/abschlussarbeit-abschluss/informatik/#gallery3655-1) uses the colorful logos, can you please add the colorful version as well?
Thanks!

I also included the blue one:
https://github.com/TUM-Dev/tum-thesis-latex/blob/master/logos%2Ftum-black_alt.pdf

Or did I miss one?

The Faculty logo on the bottom is blue in the official example (https://www.cit.tum.de/cit/studium/studierende/abschlussarbeit-abschluss/informatik/#gallery3655-1)
So faculty-black_alt.pdf is missing

The english version of the formatting example even uses a slightly different, black TUM logo (https://www.cit.tum.de/en/cit/studies/students/thesis-completing-your-studies/informatics/#gallery3670-2, only a black border)

I notified the Sachbearbeitung B.Sc. Informatik about the link to the old latex-template repository and that we are currently unable to access the logos for the thesis. They would like help us here, but the are currently checking with the TUM compliance teams, what they can do about this situation.

The black outline TUM logo is not part of the TUM logo guidelines any more:
https://portal.mytum.de/corporatedesign/vorlagen/index_Logos

Only, Blue, White and Black. So I don't think we should add it.
