Question: Privacy

Hi,

I would like to know, how privacy is treated by the XenonHD ROM? Are there any preinstalled apps collecting and sending data? Anything left from Google? About what points shall I care when using XenonHD in terms of privacy?

Hello @Echolon,
at first I will state that we, as TeamHorizon, aren't collecting any data about literally anything. We've even removed LineageOS statistics that were collecting some device-related data. There is no Google apps available in the ROM by default. The only preinstalled 3rd party apps are Nova Launcher (can be replaced) and Turbo (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.turbo).
If there is anything else I don't know about, you should expect similiar terms of privacy as in LineageOS, except for which I wrote above.

Just a bit unsure. You have all those app, NovaLauncher, KernelAuditor, Subtratum... does they collect and send any data?

only nova launcher on oreo and I have no idea about the data it uses, though it can be replaced with any other launcher

Just asking, because I'm quite picky about this. I'm probably gonna use xPrivacy and Af Wall+ but still, would be good to know.
